How it works
From your first salam to your walimah.
Five steps. Each one optional except the first — you move at the pace that suits you.
01
Create your account
Email and password, or Google. Verify with a six-digit code and you are in. You must be 18 or older.
We ask for a display name, your country and a password. Nothing else at this stage.
02
Choose why you are here
Marriage, Companion, Travel — or more than one. Your choice shapes who you see and how the app speaks to you.
Choosing Marriage surfaces a timeline question: within a year, one to two years, or when the time is right.
03
Build your profile
Photos, a short bio, your city, and — entirely optional — your religious profile: practice level, prayer, mazhab, dress, revert status.
Every religious field is optional and you control who sees it. You can blur your photos until you match.
04
Verify yourself
A live selfie matched against your main photo earns you the Verified badge. It is free, it takes a minute, and it changes how people respond to you.
Your selfie is deleted once the decision is made. A human reviews anything the automatic match cannot settle.
05
Meet, ask, and plan
Discover people who match your values. Chat, call, send a halal gift. Ask a scholar when you need to. Share a taaruf form when it is time. Book your vendors when the day comes.
Nothing here is compulsory. Many members only ever use discovery and chat.
What the free tier gives you
Twenty profiles a day, one story a day, thirty messages per match per day, and unlimited matches. Verification is free on every tier. Paid tiers raise the limits and unlock calls, incognito and included SalamCoin.
Compare the tiersIf something goes wrong
Block and report are on every profile and in every chat. Reports reach a human moderator. Blocks are bidirectional and immediate — the other member is never told.
